The Role

We are looking for a Product Lead within our IT Finance domain, with a strong focus on the technical support of IFRS 15 revenue recognition; A domain where correctness, trust and impact come together.

You are ultimately responsible for ensuring the correct allocation of revenue related to IFRS 15. You do this by leveraging a dedicated IFRS 15 data lake, where relevant business data (CRM, transactions, product catalogue and more) is collected through multiple ETL processes. 

You analyze, prepare and translate this data based on business rulings defined by External Reporting and ensure revenue and related costs are allocated correctly.

Most of the revenue processing is already automated. At the same time, Odido operates in a highly competitive market where new propositions are introduced continuously. As Product Lead, you stay closely aligned with Commercial and Finance teams, assess new propositions in time, and perform impact analyses to safeguard compliant and future-proof revenue recognition.

In parallel, several large IT migrations are planned. You work closely with other IT teams to ensure data is imported, transformed and prepared correctly, defining next steps together with your team and stakeholders.

This role balances strategic oversight with hands-on analytical depth. You move comfortably between stakeholder alignment, backlog prioritization and diving into data when needed, always with quality, compliance and customer impact in mind.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of IFRS 15 revenue allocation, from data ingestion to correct re-allocation
• Partner with Commercial, Finance and External Reporting on impact analyses for new propositions
• Coordinate IT migrations impacting IFRS 15 data architecture and integrity
• Manage team budget and make conscious CAPEX / OPEX trade-offs
• Act as Product Owner and Scrum Master, driving backlog, sprints and delivery
• Ensure compliance through rigorous testing and quality assurance
• Balance strategic stakeholder management with operational, data-driven execution

Must-have qualifications & experience

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Information Systems or a related field
2. 4+ years of experience as Product Owner or IT Product Lead in complex IT environments, and preferably Finance.
3. Strong analytical capability, including SQL, Excel and working with large datasets or datalakes
4. Proven experience working with Agile / Scrum delivery models
5. Ability to operate confidently at the intersection of IT, Finance and business stakeholders
6. Experience working with international and cross-cultural teams
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage ambiguity and drive outcomes

Nice to have's

• Background in finance, accounting or exposure to revenue recognition (IFRS 15)
• Understanding of IT governance, compliance and enterprise security frameworks
• Experience with automation or AI in financial processes
• Dutch language skills (helpful, not mandatory)
