This is what you will do

This position is situated within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Department, providing you with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and the Internal Control team. You will also interact and work with employees across various departments in the company, from HR to Sales, with a particular emphasis on Revenue Assurance, Functional Finance, and Corporate Control.

As our Internal Control Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and updating the current internal control framework and assisting with control enhancements and issue resolution in IT and NT areas. We expect you to:

  • Support and sustain an effective and efficient internal control environment within Odido;
  • Identify potential control gaps and collaborate with relevant areas to address them;
  • Coach internal process and control owners to enhance their understanding and execution of the ICS framework requirements;
  • Monitor the updating of controls and the delivery of evidence;
  • Follow up on audit recommendations (both external and internal) related to ICS;
  • Assist in reporting to Management and the ICS Board on the quality of the internal control environment and audit statuses;
  • Aid in the maintenance and training related to ICS tools.

You bring this

What are we looking for:

  • A University degree (Accounting, Audit, Risk Management, Business Administration or related);
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience (IT Risk, IT Contro, IT audit);
  • Good analytical skills with focus on risk identification and control design & implementation;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Able to present and explain complex or sensitive topics to stakeholders of different areas and backgrounds;
  • Able to build bridges between stakeholders with different views & priorities;
  • Team player and customer oriented towards internal and external stakeholders.

Bij een derde gesprek ben je er bijna. Hierin worden nog resterende vragen beantwoord en indien van beide kanten enthousiast, arbeidsvoorwaarden afgestemd.
