As Manager IP Planning & Services, you lead the team within our Network department that designs and protects the data highways behind everything our customers do; Calling, streaming, gaming, working and connecting, all at the same time. When capacity needs to grow, traffic patterns shift or pressure rises and security demand is rising, your team makes sure the network keeps flowing.

This is a people-first leadership role in a deeply technical environment. You understand telco and ISP reality, speak the language of IP Security Designers and Engineers, and know how to balance technical excellence with sustainable workloads, clarity and trust.

This is what you will do

You lead the IP Planning & Services team, the backbone of our mobile and fixed networks.
This team ensures our IP infrastructure is future-proof, secure, scalable and operationally sound, so that millions of customers can rely on Odido every day.

You are a spider in the web: technically grounded, communicatively strong, and calm under pressure.

• You lead and coach IP Designers and specialists who work on capacity planning, IP Security design, B2B solutions and network evolution.
• You create clarity and structure in a complex environment, helping the team prioritize, focus and deliver sustainably.
• You protect your team when pressure rises, while still keeping production running and commitments met.
• You continuously ask: what problems are we facing, why do they exist, and how can we structurally solve them?
• You drive process improvement across planning, design and delivery, not for process’ sake, but to make work better, clearer and more predictable.
• You work closely with IP Engineering, IP Security, Network Operations and Architects to align plans with reality.
• You translate business demand into technical feasibility, and technical constraints into clear stakeholder communication.

This is not about command-and-control leadership.
It’s about leading by example, understanding the work, and creating an environment where experts can do their best work even when demand is high.

About the team

You lead a highly skilled group of IP Designers and specialists who operate at the heart of Odido’s network.
They design, widen and optimize the IP highways that carry all customer traffic, across mobile, fixed internet and enterprise services.

You’ll shape this team together with them: how they work, how they grow, how they collaborate and how they stay healthy and motivated while delivering critical results.

Education & background

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience built through hands-on telco / ISP environments.

Experience & expertise

• Solid experience in telecom / ISP environments, with a strong understanding of how networks operate end-to-end.
• Proven leadership experience in a technical (IP/network) domain.
• Strong understanding of IP networks, capacity planning, network design and traffic flows.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, operations, security and architecture.
• A mindset focused on problem solving, process improvement and structural solutions.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must live in The Netherlands.
